For actor headshots, it’s important to bring a range of outfits that reflect the diverse roles you aspire to play. We recommend at least two to three different looks that vary in style and color to show your range. Once your session is booked, you’ll receive our “Actor Headshot Prep Guide” for more detailed advice. Additionally, we’ll discuss wardrobe options in our pre-session Zoom consultation to ensure your choices align with the characters you’re targeting.

Certainly! Having a friend or family member at your session can provide extra encouragement and help you feel more relaxed. They’re welcome to accompany you and offer support throughout the shoot.

Yes, our Oregon City studio is equipped with a dedicated dressing area, complete with a makeup station and clothing rack, to provide a comfortable space for you to change outfits and prepare for your shoot.

Of course! If you have a preferred stylist who understands your needs and the requirements of actor headshots, feel free to bring them along. Of course, we also have fabulous stylists who we contract on a regular basis and who are available to work with you prior and even during your shoot.  With your own stylist, we suggest they bring their own equipment, and if they need early access to the studio for setup, just let us know so we can make the necessary arrangements.

We’re flexible with locations and can shoot in our studio, outdoors, or at a location that suits the style of headshots you’re looking for. We bring all the necessary equipment to ensure we can capture the best possible shots, regardless of the setting.

You can expect to receive a proofing gallery within two days of your shoot. Once you’ve selected your favorite images, the final retouched versions are typically delivered within 48 hours.

Our standard retouching service includes skin smoothing, teeth whitening, reducing hair flyaways, and eliminating glasses glare to ensure you look your best. We strive to keep the images natural while presenting you in the best light.

Yes, we can accommodate requests for specific Photoshop alterations, such as changing your appearance. However, our philosophy is to keep you looking like yourself, on your best day. Any specific edits are available for an additional fee.

A non-refundable deposit is required to book your session, with the remaining balance due on the day of the shoot. We’ll send electronic invoices for both, and we accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience.

We understand that unexpected changes can occur. If you need to reschedule with more than a week’s notice, your deposit will be applied to your new session date. For cancellations within 24 hours of your shoot, the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future session under certain circumstances.

Absolutely! We specialize in helping actors feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. If you’re new to headshot sessions, we’ll guide you through posing and expressions, ensuring we capture the versatility and depth needed for your acting portfolio.

Our approach is all about creating a relaxed and supportive environment. We’ll work with you at a comfortable pace, offering guidance and feedback throughout the session. By showing you shots as we go, we can make adjustments in real time, ensuring you’re happy with the results.

Whether we’ve connected you with a stylist or you have one of your own, we have your stylist coordinate directly with you regarding arrival times. Typically, we suggest arriving about 90 minutes before your scheduled shoot to allow ample time for styling.

Our schedule tends to fill up a few weeks in advance, but we do our best to accommodate urgent requests based on availability. To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend reaching out as early as possible.
